Libby embarked on her yoga journey in 2019 starting in hot power, but as soon as she found the branch of yoga known as Jivamukti, her beliefs behind yoga changed. She completed her yoga teacher training in June 2023 and started teaching right away. " If you want to learn something,
read about it. If you want to understand something, write about it. If you want to master something, teach it." -Yogi Bhajan.
Her journey thus far has taken her to Taos, NM, and India. Both trips were impactful on the Bhakti yoga (devotional yoga). In Taos, she visited the Neem Karoli Baba Hanuman Temple. In India, she followed the footsteps of Ram Dass towards meeting his Guru, Neem Karoli Baba Maharajji. Libby was working in neuroscience research studying sleep, however, her India trip
ignited a fire to change career paths and follow her passion for holistic wellness.
She believes in the power of lifestyle, food as medicine, and studying the Self as a means to live an abundant life. Her style of teaching is all-levels vinyasa, working with beginner to advanced yogis, and meeting every practitioner where they are. She offers optional hands-on assists, alignment cues, breathwork, meditation, and a space to feel peaceful. She will also provide insightful scriptures
to deepen your practice, from Ram Dass, Alan Watts, Thich Nhat Hahn, and more.
The morning yoga flow will include breathwork, meditation, asana (pose) practice, and chanting the sound of the universe OooooMMMMMmmmm. The asana practice will be energizing in both a gentle and strengthening way, depending on the energy of the yogis in the morning. Libby brings an uplifting and creative spark to the Ayurveda Wellness House by cultivating a community rooted in trust, inclusion, and love. Her goal is to help others understand their bodies in movement and stillness, connecting mind, body, and spirit.
