Every season according to Ayurveda has its significant relationship with the energy forces/Dosha (vata, pita, kapha). After the dark, dry, & cold winter months (VATA DOSHA SEASON) that were prevalent in the atmosphere is finally over, and its time to get out of the hibernation mode
Spring or Vasantha ritu in Ayurveda is a month that is predominant with water element- Kapha dosha. Kapha combines the water & earth element. That means Kapha is often cold, moist, dense, stable, solid, and cloudy. It is the month of renewal and rebirth for all cycles, offering awakening, warmth, & growth
According to Ayurveda, the key to managing health is to practice seasonal routines. It helps us maintain balance and reminds us that we are a part of nature.
