This retreat has been designed to help you to reconnect with yourself in a mindful and holistic way with Ayurveda and Yoga experts, Ayurveda doctor Shilpika Devaiah will be your guide into this holistic health reset.
A creative Ayurveda wellness retreat is a unique blend of traditional Ayurvedic practices and creative expression. The goal is to provide a holistic and rejuvenating experience incorporating traditional healing techniques with creativity and cultural exploration such as painting, music, dance, hikes, Tai Chi, etc., and engaging in cultural experiences that help to promote wellness and relaxation.
We make every possible effort to maintain the authenticity and principles of Ayurveda, yoga, and pranayama and integrate that with spiritual practices. Keeping that in mind, here is the outline of the retreat

An Ayurvedic health consultation with each participant at the retreat that includes a traditional assessment and personalized recommendations for diet and lifestyle,
Two Customized Ayurveda Therapies for 60 minutes.
Ayurveda Workshops by Lauren and Shilpika
Pranayama workshops by Evan to deepen your breathing and mindfulness techniques.
Fire ceremony to initiate the retreat and welcome the positive energy.
Daily early morning yoga and meditation class.

Shilpika Devaiah
Shilpika Devaiah is the founder of Ayurveda Wellness House and is a certified Ayurveda Physician (Vaidya) through NAMA (National Ayurvedic Medical Association) & AAPNA (Association of Ayurvedic Professionals of North America) organization. She received her Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine, and Surgery which is a 5-year program from Rajiv Gandhi University Of Health Sciences, Bangalore, India, and Diploma in Panchakarma from Ayurdhama Ayurveda Hospital and Yoga Retreat Center in India. Shilpika also has a 200 hour Yoga Teachers Training Certification from the renowned Sivananda Yoga Ashram, India specializing in Hatha yoga. Shilpika is also certified as an Ayurveda Yoga Therapist by NAMA. She is also trained in Ashtanga-Vinyasa principles and has held multiple Yoga workshops in Rishikesh, India, Om Cafe, Sri Lanka, etc. to support prakruti.

Samantha Scrivens is a Mental Health Counseling coach and is a student of sound and experienced in Western psychotherapy, Eastern spirituality, and South and North American shamanic practices
Samantha Scrivens
Apart from pursuing a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Samantha is a student of sound and shamanic practices. She has traveled and lived abroad extensively to connect with indigenous cultures and learn from their healing modalities. Samantha has practiced Thai massage in Chiang Mai, been attuned to Reiki in Nepal, and learned about Mayan astrology and cacao in Guatemala. By blending Western psychotherapy, Eastern spirituality, and South and North American shamanism, she helps clients find their inner True North to lead wholehearted, purposeful lives in harmony with the Earth and one another.

Food
We will offer breakfast, lunch, dinner and herbal teas, as well as tea and snacks in-between. In-house cooked vegetarian meals cooked per Ayurvedic principles. It is essential that you inform Shilpika of any dietary requirements, within reason, well in advance so that she can let us know of your needs. If, for medical reasons, you follow a highly restricted diet, we advise you to bring with you any essentials you might need for your well-being. If you are prone to a severe reaction to an allergen, for example, a very small amount on a kitchen knife or board, it is essential that we be informed. Please note that we are unable to offer absolute guarantees for such allergic conditions. Breakfast generally consists of hot cereals (cooked grains), dairy and non-dairy options, homemade yogurt, and fresh fruit. Lunch, the main meal of the day, typically includes white and brown rice, delicious legumes (dahl), vegetables (subzi), homemade yogurt, and a fresh salad bar. Dinner is the lightest meal of the day and generally consists of soup, fresh salad, a delicious side dish, and fresh fruit.
